9.03.07 Welcome to the Class of 2011!

4.18.07  Results are available from this years Run For Health at  www.yellowjacketracing.com .  We would like to thank everyone that came out to run and volunteer, we had almost 300 participants!!!!!  Congratulations to all that were involved and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

3.8.2007  Sughosh Dhakal, UR Well Clinic Director, presented a poster, entitled “Providing Healthcare for the Uninsured While Cultivating Compassionate Care: The UR Well Student Outreach,” at the American Medical Student Association’s 56th Annual Convention in Washington D.C.

9.12.2006 UR Well Student Outreach celebrates its two year anniversary and one hundredth clinic session! So far, we have provided care for 330 uninsured individuals during more than 500 office visits.

Dozens of physicians and hundreds of medical students have volunteered their time to help accomplish our mission of providing free high-quality preventive and health maintenance services to the uninsured and under-served while promoting the spirit of education, social justice, and collaboration.

Welcome to the newly matriculated first year class of medical students and the new batch of volunteers!

3.29.06 URWell would like to thank everyone who came out to participate in the Rochester Run for Health! A huge thank you to all the racers and to the many volunteers who made the event go so smoothly. We are grateful for your commitment to the community and to providing health care for those without insurance.

8.16.2005 The URWell Benefit Recital, organized by medical students Chris Greenman, playing the violin, and Erika Levy, playing the piano, raised $970 for URWell. Works by Mozart, Corigliano, and Faure were performed. Thank you to the performers and to all who attended.

5.24.2005 URWell receives the AAMC Caring for Community grant
The grant is designed to encourage the development of student-initiated services and programs to the community.

4.23.2005 Rochester Run for Health a Success! Thanks to all the racers and the many volunteers, the Rochester Run for Health raised over $6000 for St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center and UR Well Student Outreach.
